[comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware] TEAC FD55 jumpers

gwni@troi.cc.rochester.edu (G. Wayne Nichols) (11/29/90)

I bought a used Teac 360K floppy (FD-55FV-35-U),
but it doesn't work.

I got the drive select jumper right (the motor will run when I
try to access the drive), but it won't boot from the floppy.

P.S. I'm using this in an XT.

Anyway, I'm interested in the jumper positions labelled:
U1/U2/HL/IU and the one beside it (ML?), and DCRY (jumper
on or off). There's also a jumper at R3 labelled FG.

If someone could just peek at their FD55 running in an XT
and tell me what *they* have jumpered, I'd appreciate it.
