I have in my machine an RLL controller running two floppies and a HD. Can I install a Seagate ST-01 SCSI controller *in addition* to the current controller? Thanks for replies. Aviad

Yes. In fact, I'm using just such a combination right now. I have a '386 clone with a Western Digital WD1006 (mfm) and the ST-01. Seems to work just fine. Don't know about this in XT style computers - if you need to know, I can hook one up and try. You can even use a ST-02 with this, but unless you can disable the floppy controller on your other controller, you won't have a floppy! (they conflict) And hey, the ST-01 is a good deal! I think I paid $30 for mine. > Thanks for replies. > > Aviad -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- | David Lacey | Try the ISCA BBS and Archives | | President, Iowa Student Computer Assn | Telnet/FTP: isca.icaen.uiowa.edu | | The University of Iowa | telnet/rlogin in as iscabbs | | isca@icaen.uiowa.edu | 1.3 GIG of disk space and growing| -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
