Well, the replies have stopped drifting in, so here's the results of
the survey. For those who tuned in late, I asked what combinations of
SCSI controller/peripheral/OS were out "there" and actually working.
I received 12 replies, summarized below. Mucho thanks to all who
replied. I hope that someone else finds this useful. I wound up
getting an Adaptec 1542B "Master Kit" (basically, the adapter with
drivers for DOS, OS/2, and Novell and a cable) and the el cheapo
Seagate 296N.
