[net.travel] wanted: airfare info to Australia

I'm looking for reasonable/cheap roundtrip airfares between Seattle and
Sydney, Australia in the December/Jan timeframe.  All the established
airlines (quantas, pan am, etc) want around $1400.  Anyone know of better
deals through charters, group fares, flying from Canada, etc?  Thanx.
