I just opened my old IBM XT/286 and found 2 small memory cards,
very similar to SIMMs, each with 256K. Is it possible to swap them
with 1M or 4M SIMMs, in order to get 2 or 8M of extended memory?

The only way to add memory to an IBM XT/286 is with a memory card. >-- > || Philippe MUSSI (mussi@manolo.inria.fr) > Currently || Institut National de Recherche en Informatique et Automatique > Deadlocked || 2004 route des Lucioles, BP 109, F-06561 VALBONNE CEDEX > ... || FAX (33)93657766/65 Telex 970050F Telephone (33)93657891
