My wife and I are planning a trip to the Vancouver, B.C. area this summer. I was wondering if anybody had information to share about: 1. The Uclulet-Tofino area on the west side of Vancouver Island. I was there in 1970 and loved it. I understand that the area has changed quite a lot in the last 10 years. Does anybody know of bed and breakfast places, hotels, etc. 2. The 'interior' of B.C. within a day's drive from Vancouver, particularly the area around Garibaldi Park. It would be really nice to spend some time by glacial lakes. Again, if anybody knows of campgrounds, hotels, etc. the information would be appreciated. 3. Inexpensive accomodations in Vancouver. We'd be particularly interested in staying in the Kitsilano area if there were inexpensive places to stay (i.e. we'd like to stay out of the Granville-downtown area if possible). 4. While I'm at it, we'd also like to spend a day or so in both Portland and Seattle. Any suggestions on hotels, restaurants, etc. I'll post answers to the net if there's interest. Also, I've been gathering information about the Oregon & Washington coasts, Olympic Penninsula, and Orcas Island, which I'll be glad to share if interest warrants. Thanks.
