Does anyone out there know if you can use an IDE disk controller card simultaneously with a standard ST506 controller card? I currently have a WD1003V-MM2 controller card and want to upgrade to an IDE disk (and thus have to add an IDE controller), while keeping my existing drive. I know both cards have settings for primary and secondary i/o address. But do any of the current crop of BIOSes support this secondary address. For that matter, does Xenix support this secondary address, since that is my primary reason for having two drives. Thanks for any help Seng-Poh Lee lee@gdc.portal.com
