[net.travel] San Francisco Hotel

i don't know what your idea of expensive is, but one place i've
stayed in san francisco was particularly nice. It is called the
Seal Rock Inn, and is located near ( but not on ) the ocean
right near ( you guessed it ) Seal Rock, by golden gate park.
The trick is to call far enough in advance to get the right rooms.
You want to be on the 3rd, or possibly 2nd floor, on the side facing
the ocean. The rooms we stayed at ( one on 3, one on 2 ) were
very nice. The entire wall facing the ocean was windows, and
there is a pretty little park between you and the ocean. The rooms
	had 2 beds, a fireplace (!!), and a small kitchenette ( with a
stove, fridge, and some counters ). We didn't cook at all when
we were there, but we could have ( offset some restaurant costs ).
if you call for reservations, make sure you are specific about
what you want in your room, cause they differ a lot in features
& price. when we stayed there ( ~ 2 years ago ) it cost us
about $48 a nite, which was about what we were paying for far
more ordinary accomodations. enjoy your stay, and say hello to
	san francisco for me...
