Anyone have any experience with the expansion chasis for the Toshiba 3100sx?
We're planning to buy a T3100sx along with the chasis so that we can attach
it to the office TOPS / LocalTalk network when not "on the road." We're also
figuring that in the future, if we ever go for a really small laptop, the
T3100sx + expansion chasis will make an ok desktop machine. But, we're
wondering 1) is it practical to detach and reattach to the expansion
chasis frequently and 2) is there an alternative way to hook up? There's
supposed to be something called "One Under" (or wonder or ?) which goes
underneath and can provide one or two 16 bit slots. Anyone know if it works
and know how much heavier it makes the T3100sx? Anyone know of a LocalTalk
card that could go directly into the T3100sx?
