Why is it that my hard disk tranfer rate drops dramatically
when tested in desqview/386 (ie desqview+QEMM) but not in
dos under QEMM or in plain Desqview (ie Desqview without QEMM).
Some examples are shown below. Note that all tranfer rates
are given in Kbytes/second and measure with coretest.
DOS QEMM Desqview Desqview/386
16Mhz 386sx + scsi disk+sto2 cntlr 350 320 350 95
20Mhz 386 st506 type disk+cntlr 165 150 165 104
33Mhz 386 st506 type disk+cntlr 165 160 165 150

Is this normal? Am I not seting up QEMM correctly?
