I'm interested in purchasing a SCSI adaptor for a Seagate 383MB disk. IME has a DTC 3280 (16bit) which supposedly has connections for 7 hard disks and 4 floppies. It also comes with drivers for formatting. There is also a driver which you will need loaded if you have another type controller in your system. That bothers me. If I have a WD MFM as well as the SCSI I have to keep a driver loaded at all times. Are other SCSI controllers the same in terms of having to use a loaded driver for this purpose? Can this cause problems with video controllers as well? For the price of the DTC $129 is there a much better solution? What about DOS/Unix compatibility? Any help is very appreciated! -- Felix Cabral {felixc@mtgzz.att.com} "Just give me a rad AT&T Bell Labs { att!mtgzz!felixc } wave, a rad board and Middletown,NJ { (201)957-5081 } a company sick day"
