[comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware] Practical Periperals Modem Offer

     I have recently heard about an offer from Practical Periperals for a
	 modem (model 9600SA) which they are offering to SYSOPS of local 
	 Bulletin Board Systems (BBS's) for the price of $335.00.  This seems
	 like an incredible price for a 9600 baud modem.  I then called them
	 and they confirmed the offer on that modem which has a 
	 suggested retail of $699.00.
		My question(s) is/are:
		   (1) Has anyone ever heard of the PP 9600SA and what are 
			   the specs?
		   (2) How does this model stack up against other models?
			   any comments on this offer would be appreciated.
