The PC-Virgin, anxiously awaiting his date with destiny, would like to inquire of all net-landers having Mag Computronic VGA monitors: what do you think about them? Gateway 2000 is shipping them with their systems: standard is interlaced, but for only $50 more you can get a non-interlaced monitor (same brand). A rather PC-Promiscuous friend swears by NEC 3D monitors, and sniffs at the idea of a "clone-monitor". Thanks to all who replied to my last posting, I will summarise and report in gory detail the deflowering of this PC-Virgin :-) -- Jerry Natowitz Guest user on: ARPA jin@ursa-major.spdcc.com UUCP {ima,harvard,rayssd,linus,m2c}!spdcc!jin

I'm using it with Boca's new super VGA board, and I'm quite pleased. Even at 1024x768 (interlaced), I don't see any flicker. I have no reason wish I'd made another choice. -jeff-
