Hi Folks, I hope someone can set me straight on what is wrong with my computer. I recently installed a 3.5" HD drive in my 286-10 AT clone. I now have a 1.2 MB drive and a 1.44 MB drive installed in the computer. The problem is that the computer will not recognize the 1.44 MB drive as being a 1.44 MB drive. Instead, the computer thinks I have two 1.2 MB drives. I have made the necessary changes to the setup program, but it still thinks it's a 1.2MB drive. I ran this problem by a friend of mine and he said it might be a bios problem. The date on my bios is January 1, 1987. My question is: Is this an actual bios problem and if it is, can it be corrected by a bios fix or will I need to purchase a new bios? Thanks in advance. Michael Jackson Have Glove, Will Moonwalk!
