What part(s) of California are you planning to go to? Also, how long will you be there, and what is your mode (e.g. camping, motels, etc.). Are you looking for natural scenery like Yosemite, or are you looking for human-made scenery like the LA freeway system? Calif. is so large, you could easily spend two weeks there, traveling at high speed (e.g. 55mph), and still not see everything.
