[comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware] EGA Video Extension Hardware

Can anyone point me at hardware which will permit operation of 
an EGA monitor 700-1000 feet from the EGA adapter?

I've found a 100-foot extender from Black Box, but need some 
combination of hardware to go much further. If not EGA, can
it be more easily done with VGA adapter and monitor?
