[comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware] 386/486s from HD Computers and motherboards Data Expert

ahs@universal.Berkeley.EDU (Anar Shah) (01/28/91)

Hi,

I'm considering buying either a 368 or a 486 machine from a
company called HD Comupters Inc., located in California.

Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with this company?
It has been business for 5.5 years old and uses motherboards manufactured
by Data Expert. Has anyone heard of Data Expert too?

I will appreciate any information on these companies.

Thanks, in advance.

Interesting timing; I just yesterday posted a glowing recommendation
of HD Computers to comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc. In case you can't find it,
the gist of it was that I have been very happy with them. Their
toll-free technical support number answers immediately, and their
reps are very knowledgeable. They just helped me, long-distance, to
install a new disk drive that I'd purchased elsewhere that came with
no documentation. I recommend them wholeheartedly.
