HELP!!!!!
I recently aquired a ST250R hard drive and am haing trouble hooking it
up with my WD1006V SR2. The drive refuses to low level format with anything
but WDFMT.EXE from WDinfobbs. Not even DM or the WD bios call will format
it properly. Even after formatting (high level) the drive will not load any-
thing over 20K without giving seek errors. The number of retries lowers when
I switch from 12Mz to 8Mz, but they still occur. Any idea why this happens or
any way I can use this drive (it's the only one I currently have.)
