I have two Micropolis 1325D 70MB disk drives. I've managed to format them (low-level and DOS) and can get them to work as drive 'C' on my AT-type computer using a 'GW-106V1' RLL controller (1-1 interleave). Can anyone help me in getting one of the drives to work as a 'D' drive. I've tried all combinations I know of for the six jumper settings and even have removed the terminating resistor from the final drive. I request help on the following: my cable switches 6 lines to the second drive in the data chain... is that necessary? Also, does anyone know the proper switch settings? BTW, these drives were rescued from old VAX RT52 drive units. Thanks... Tim MacEachern maceache@hawk.nstn.ns.ca
