A girlfriend of mine and her sister went to club med mexico a few years ago. They didn't like it because the female/male ratio was 7 to 1. Most of the men they met were blue collar workers, who immediately gave my friend the brushoff after finding out she's an engineer. There was a storm, so they couldn't do any scuba or snorkeling, or sailing, which they had looked forward to. I guess the sleeping arrangements are 2 members of the same sex in one "bungalow". There were a lot of arguements when one roommate would pick someone up, and lock the other roommate out for the night, etc. Another female friend of mine has been to 3 different club meds, and had a good time on them.

Female to male ratio of 7:1? Mexico, here I come! But seriously, why should that be? And why should most of the men be blue-collar workers? And why should an engineer have any trouble meeting men anyway?
