[comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware] Need info about st296n hard disk

(Yet Another Question...)

Hello, everyone. I am in need of details about a Seagate ST296N hard
disk.  I have one; it came with a Seagate Universal Installation Handbook;
the book lists specs for drives through the st277n but not for the st296n.
ARGHHHH!!!!!

Anyway, I want/need information for setup, such as: # of heads, # of cyclinders,
whether there's a write Pre-Comp cylinder, etc. etc. I know that its
capacity is somewhere in the neighborhood of 80Meg, and that it's a SCSI
drive. (And that I don't yet have a SCSI controller that has documentation,
either.  Double argh.)

Thanks in advance,
bob,mon.

Bob, the ST296N is an 85 meg SCSI HD with 6 heads, 818 cyls, WPC at 816,
no RWC (reduced write current?), 34 sectors per track and an average access
time of 28 msec.
