I have been considering purchasing a Roland D-5, which is an entry level keyboard (the musical type). I would like to use my AT as a sequencer for the D-5 via a MIDI port. What I was wondering is if any of you know whether or not the D-5 and the MIDI port will also allow me to enjoy sound programmed into software. I know that the Roland MT-32 is a sound module available and that there are many software programs that support it, but I was wondering if the D-5 would work in its place? Thanks in advance. -- /********************************************************************** * You learn something new every day, * Jason Arthur DeHaan * * and today was no exception. * University of Illinois * * NEVER put raisins in the microwave! * at Urbana-Champaign * * --Jay * j-dehaan@uiuc.edu * **********************************************************************/
