Hi, I've this ATT 6300+ machine(99% AT clone, something like a 286 with XT bus?) running MS-DOS with 20M harddisk and the monochrome AT&T monitor. For all I know, it supports CGA and the "AT&T" graphic mode(in black and white, of course!) Now that I can get my hands on a color CGA monitor and am thinking about hooking it to the 6300+. Now questions: 1. Can I use a standard CGA monitor on this machine? (Yes/No) 2. If Yes, how can I hook it up? New cable? I seem to remember the AT&T monitor has a connector quite different from the stand CGA connector. Does anyone has the pin-out? 3. If No, can I disable the original video adapter so I can put in my own video adapter and monitor(how about VGA? If I'm going through all this trouble, I may as well going ALL THE WAY!) How to do it? Any instructions? (Step by step walk thru will be great!) Please reply by email. If there are enough interest, I'll post the summary. Thanks for your help Kelvin lam@gordon.UUCP or 70003.4734@compuserve.com
