Does anyone know if it is possible to use QuarterDeck's QRAM 50/60 with a PS/2 50z containing 1 (one) 2MB simm on the system board, and NO memory adapter card? From what I understand, you must have a memory adapter card for the software to work. The ultimate goal is to let Lotus 2.2 see the 1408K of memory as expanded, and for Windows 3.0 see the same as extended. I have played around with EMS40.SYS from PC-Magazine, but it causes Win3 not to get past the startup screen. The CONFIG.SYS file looks like: device=c:\windows\himem.sys ; line 1 device=c:\windows\smartdrv.sys 256 256 ; line 2 device=c:\dos\ems40.sys ; line 3 files=40 ; line 4 buffers=15 ; from Win3 manual stacks=0,0 ; from Win3 manual If the ems40.sys line is first, then it takes over, and does not let himem.sys work (but that is to be expected). I realize that I could use a dual-boot program to select which CONFIG.SYS file to use, i.e, one for expanded (leave lines 1 and 2 out), and one for extended (leave line 3 out), but I am inherently lazy.
