I'm not sure that this is the appropriate board to be asking this question-- if not, please let me know where I should go! The setup: an AT compatible with a Metrabyte A/D D/A converter board. Homebrew software that currently reads the A/D input and saves/processes data. The goal: to add to the Homebrew software routines for controlling the analog output. This will be used to sweep a tunable dye laser. The laser sweep is currently controlled by a Wavetek. The question: does anyone have experience with this card? I am working from the docs that came with the board and controlling software (BASIC interface but interface on top of that in C, which is what our programming is in), the existing homebrew routines, and a basic C knowledge. If you have worked with this before and have any suggestions or caveats for me, I would appreciate hearing them. Thanks in advance! Dave
