I own an Amstrad PC1640, and recently I bought an IBM PC/XT Compatible keyboard (Enhanced). I found that the Amstrad has a different plug for the connection of its keyboard. The Amstrad has a 6 pin 270 degree plug (with the extra pin in the middle) wheras the IBM PC/XT Compatible has a 5 pin 180 degree plug. If anyone out there has converted such a keyboard for use with the Amstrad, I would be deeply grateful if you could send me some information. I'm sure that I am not the only person who has felt frustration with the Amstrad Keyboard.
