I'm going to upgrade my Dell System 220 (20MHz '286) sometime soon. One of the options I've been considering is Microway's FASTCache-SX i386SX board. From photos I've seen, it's a 16-bit ISA card; the ad mentions a cable, which I assume connects the i386SX to the 286 socket on the motherboard. Does anyone have any experiences with this board? Assuming that I'm correct about the cable, will the i386SX access memory via the fast memory bus on my machine like the 286 does, or will it use the I/O bus?
