Bob James, Michael Jackson, etc."owe us" anything like creativity or
decent music]
As Rich Rosen points out, these marketing whizzes's music crowds
out a lot of exciting, GOOD music, played by unrecognized, starving,
frustrated geniuses. Therefore, I feel they owe us to play something
decent, or get the fuck off the airwaves and out of the record stores so
we can hear something BETTER!
Anyone who's ever played in a live band knows the awful feeling when
a large crowd sits and listens politely to you, then jumps up to
dance and boogie wildly as soon as the PRE_RECORDED DJ MUSIC comes in
in between sets....or when your local live music clubs switch to
having MTV video nights instead of live bands....
