This may be the wrong newsgroup for my request, but here it is,
anyway.
A friend and I have been discussing moving in a few years to
Scandinavia(Norway as first choice, but not critical) for a while with
possibility of obtaining citizenship. Can anyone mail me any
info/advice or pointers to info on establishing correspondence with
someone over there with similar intrests("Pen-Pals")? We are not
interested in "Singles"-types, would like serious correspondence
with an eye toward friendship.
My main interests are in computers(own a Texas Instruments 99/4A
and am building peripherals for it), astronomy and space work, science
fiction and some fantasy[a la Tolkien(sp?)], and am a computer
technician. My friend is intrested in philosophy, human languages,
and a smattering of the physical sciences. We also enjoy
travelling/seeing new places and things. This list is by no means
complete, and also is quite flexible. We also would like to learn
the Scandinavian languages.
Can anyone assist us?
