[comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware] AD2372C, DTC7287 ?

 Hi netters,
  I need your comments on these two disk controllers.
  Adaptec AD2372C and DTC7287.
  Both are 16bit RLL controller.
  I've heard that they both have cylinder mapping function.
  Is this useful ? good ?
