Sorry, if this is and old subject, I am new to the group. I am looking to add a 1.2 MB floppy to an IBM Model 80, but it is not mine and so don't have it here to inspect. The owner says it might fit in sideways as the case is too narrow. I want to know what the usual way people add a 5 1/4" drive to this machine and also if MCA makes for any difficulties, or will I just the usual floppy cable and presto, I'm done. jy, email welcome, yee@ee.ucla.edu
