I just realized the version I had was off wuarchive and was labelled
2.0, but was actual 1.2 or something. I tried using SVGA256.BGI and got
resolutions up to 1024x768x256. But two problems I noticed. I have the
DiamondStar (Tseng4-based) VGA, and had their VESA-compatible BIOS
addition loaded. That caused the image under the mouse to be replaced
with parts of the menu-line. Really strange. That went away once I
removed the driver. But now, (and only with the external driver
loaded), when I load a file, the text that is supposed to be within the
circuit window around ICs, etc, seems to pop up all over the screen
(over the menu), as well as where it should be. But still, it's really
strange. Is that what was happening to you?
