Does anyone have a description of how the programmable interrupt controller is supposed to work? I'm modifying a MIDI card so I need more information on how to control hardware interrupts. Specifically, a theory of how the PIC handles incoming hardware interrupts, how to program it, and what information is available from it. Also, how can you read the keyboard if the keyboard service routine must be disabled? Please send all replies to mh2o@andrew.cmu.edu Thanks, - Mike
