I am anticipating the purchase of one of those cheap SVGA- 486 systems (circa $3000). My questions are: 1) How can I avoid getting the old bug-ridden 80486 chips that I've heard about? 2) I've read a few ads for 2.8 MEG 3.5" floppies within the past year or so. Is there a standard for these things and are they a reliable media yet? 3) I've read a few complaints on this net about SVGA incompatibilities - How can this be avoided without spending megabucks on a REAL brand-name system? Reply to me since these are fairly generic questions. I'll post a summary if requested. Thanx. +-----------------------------------------------------------------+ | Elec Eng.
