I'm considering a Gateway 486/33 PC. The salesguy said it uses the B6 step i486 chip. I thought Intel was into the "C"s last summer. Is this chip OK to use? I run lots of Windows 3 stuff. Is Gateway using old, buggy chips to keep their prices low? Everyone I know who has a 386/25 is very happy with it, but I don't know about any 486/33 experiences. The salesguy says it works fine (of course). I don't trust salescritters. I was going to post this in comp.sys.intel, but the group appears dead. TIA, Marshall -- Marshall L.
