I have an original IBM PC (model 5150 I believe) which I am using as a spare when I don't have access to my 80286. Lately I have been attempting to rejuvenate it so that it is somewhat more modern. I've replaced the BIOS and added additional memory (up to 640K). Last night I replaced the 8088 with a V20. I was now thinking of replacing the crystal with a faster one. Is this "doable", and if so, does anyone know where a faster clock crystal can be obtained? Thanks for any help provided. John Dowling dowling@oasys.dt.navy.mil
