[comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware] PC XT and EGA board problem

I have an all IBM setup: PC XT, EGA board, EGA monitor.  The EGA board does
not work for some reason.  I borrowed a Genoa EGA board and it works fine.
I tried the IBM EGA board on a Zenith AT, Zenith EGA monitor and it works fine.

Question:  Has anyone had luck with the all IBM combo I have or does anyone
           know about some memory, BIOS, DIP switch problems?

Note: For those suggesting an upgrade to a better machine, I already have
one.  Plus, this machine is great for netting, writing, taxes, finances, etc...
