I have successfully RLL'd a Seagate 251-1 with a Seagate 8-bit RLL controller (ST11 using Seagate Bios v2.0). The only annoying thing I've experienced is that at bootup I get a message like this: Drive D has not been initialized and contains no initialization software. Would you like to initialize it (y/n)? Yes, I know that the message is there for my own good and my controller thinks it's doing me a favor, but there's no timeout so I have to be there anytime I boot my computer. My question: Is there any debug command (with address & instruction to write there) that I can use to put an "initialized" mark on this drive so to avoid this message at boot-up?
