I have noticed that some floppy and/or hard drive controllers have jumpers for 'alternate I/O address.' I assume that this will enable a second controller to access two more drives, is this correct? Are there drivers available for DOS to use this feature? Also, are there drivers available that can make use of hard drives with more than 1024 cylinders, or do I have to get a controller that does translation? Bruce Peterson peterson@plains.NoDak.edu
