Thank you for providing me with information on my motherboard replacement plan. I have made my decision and ordered the parts. I selected what was called a "31 MhZ XT 80286" motherboard. It's a fast XT board that acts like an XT but has an 80286 cpu and cannot (not ever) use a math coprocessor. I figured that since I don't use a coprocessor anyway, and I'm not likely to need one in the future, that would be ok. The board has 640K memory and 360K Bios Cache memory (you can't use it for anything but bios cache, but it's there.) The board and memory cost $149, including 2 day UPS air shipping (but it won't be sent out for two days, they admitted), insurance fee, and "handling." It comes with a manual that will supposedly tell me where to connect all the wires. I figure I am taking a slight risk with an 80286 XT board, it's unusual and COULD have some weird problem, but I think it's worth risking. It's exchangeable for regular XT board if I don't like it. Thanks again for the info. Scott
