[comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware] IDE drive problems

I have a RODIME 105M IDE drive in my 386.  The problem I keep seeing
are the following error messages:

	Data Not Ready drive X
	abort, retry, ignore, fail

	Drive door open on drive X
	abort, retry, ignore, fail


The last one is really interesting for a hard drive.  The frequency of
appearance is starting to accelerate, and only seems to happen when
I do disk intensive work. (compiling, etc).

Does anybody have ideas?
