Some years back, I heard of a board that goes into an AT bus
machine and looks on the bus as an additional or board BIOS. The board
had 64KB of battery backedup RAM so you could down load some new code,
have the motherboard BIOS discover it and then let the new "BIOS" do
its thing.

Looking through my notes, I cannot find the(a) company that
makes a board like that. I am sure it exists but need some help locating
the manufacturer.

My objective is to find an inexpensive way to do board BIOS
development without having to go through a zillion EPROM burnings.

Any info or feedback would be appreciated.
