Hello, I have a COMPAQ 386 33MHZ and a COMPAQ 386 20MHZ. The 33 came with a 324M ESDI drive and the 15MHZ controller, the 20 came with a 130M ESDI. I've changed the 33 to SCSI and so now I want to put the 15 MHZ controller and both ESDI drives on the 20, 324M half-height internal and 130M full-height external. This 15MHZ controller has a 44 pin COMPAQ proprietary(I think) connector on the back. I've been told that COMPAQ sells an external expansion box, but that you can't buy it unless you buy drives in it, anyway I already have an external box but with a D connector on the back. Does anyone know if it is possible to buy a 44 pin to D connector cable? Any one done anything like this? Any help would be appreciated. If I can help it we'll never buy more COMPAQ equipment.
