I am having a problem getting my NEC Multisync II and Video Seven VGA 1024i with 512K RAM to work in 800 x 600 mode. When I try to use this mode, the display expands way off the top and bottom of the screen. The Video Seven manual suggests turning the Multisync's "MANUAL" switch to the "on" position. When I do this, the display seems to lose sync-- diagonal bands of what used to be the display appear. Both companies' tech support think the monitor has a problem. Any suggestions on what the problem might be and how to fix it would be greatly appreciated.
