[comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware] SCSI Controller On Board

steveh@tasman.cc.utas.edu.au (Steven Howell) (04/08/91)

I have heard of two japanese companies manufacturing PC's with a SCSI
controller on board. Does anyone know anything about these boards and do they
work as effectivley and easily as what scsi was mean't for.

I have seen other PC's with IDE and RLL on board but not scsi.

thanks in advance

Some of the NCR PC's have built in SCSI. I think the PC486 does. You might
want to take a look at them.
