[comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware] Two hard drives with two controllers

reeves@dvinci (Malcolm Reeves) (04/10/91)

I have 2 x 40Mb MFM hard drives and 2 x WD1002A controller cards.
(1) Can I run both drives in the same PC-XT?
(2) How do I set the jumpers on the WD1002A's?
Apologies if this is a frequently asked question.

Thanks in advance

Malcolm Reeves

1) You connect both hard drives to one controller.
2) Any way you like, you don't need two controllers.
