I have a Quimax MultiSync Monitor model DM-3140 which I am having a lot of trouble with. It has worked fine for three years but recently the monitor has just given up on me. The problems began when I would be using my computer, the display would just flicker out and disappear. After a few bumps the screen will come back. BTW, it is connected to a VGA Wonder OEM w/512k in a 386DX machine. A week after the longer it would take to get my picture back. And finally the picture doesn't come back at all. I thought it may have been a loose connection but I checked for that. I even went as far as opening the monitor up. YES, I was VERY careful. Didn't touch anything. But I didn't observe and burned out pieces or looses wiring. Right now if I'm lucky I'll get a picture for a few seconds before it goes blank. Also when the screen is blank, I get an out of the ordinary high pitched frequency and the monitor seems to get hotter than normal. ANY Solutions?
