I'm a student interested in finding out some information about the new IBM Model 80-111 specifically about one of its processors, the 386. I'd like to know about the chip's registers (number, size, which are just in the ALU, etc.) ..how does the system handle floating points? ..I assume it's a two's-complement machine, am I right? ..are there any perculiarities about the adders/multipliers- and just how do they work? ..what about the DASD and SCSI busmaster? ..I can take anything on the Intel B! version 80386--anything!! If anyone has specific (I need down&dirty info here!) facts on the hardware of this system, stuff more than just what a salesperson can give, I would be very thankful if you could mail me. Thanks Matthew Rogers
