Could someone tell me the ps/2 mouse pinout, especially if it is a 9 pin D connector? I was looking at a trackball that claims to be for PS/2. It has about a foot long cord, ending in a DB9. I want to connect one to a non-PS/2 as a serial mouse. One book I saw sounds like the keyboard and mouse have the same, 4 pin connector. This trackball definitely has a 9 pin connector. Thanks for any help on this. -- glen

It probably isn't really for a PS/2. They have a DB-25 serial port and a DIN (5 pin?) connectors for the keyboard and mouse. ben -- Benjamin Cline ------------------------------ *ben@bucsf.bu.edu 700 Commonwealth Ave.|Practice: Theory that does | benji@gnu.ai.mit.edu Box 1087 | function properly. | *prefered Boston, Ma 02215 ------------------------------
