Thanks to all the people who responded to my posting. To recap, I was getting an error message on my IBM PS/2 model 70, ocassionally, when I changed disks: "Invalid Disk Change in Drive A: Please Insert Disk # XXXXXXXXXXXX Abort, Retry, Fail? " This has been traced to a bug in IBM's PC-DOS. They are distributing a bug fix for it, called DASDDRVR.SYS on the reference diskettes (ver. 1.10 or later) that come with the machines. You need to put this file in \DOS and add the line: "device=\dos\dasddrvr.sys" to your config.sys file. It doesn't take up any memory at all, and apparently fixes some other bugs with PC-DOS as well. If anyone needs this bug fix, e-mail me and I'll send it to you. -- khoo@husc3.harvard.edu Lawrence Khoo Computer Consultant khoo@husc9.harvard.edu (617) 496-8992 Econ. Dept, Harvard U.
